PHASE 2: 7 Restaurants that are accepting Dine-in Reservations
Singapore is entering phase 2 of reopening from June 18, 11.59 pm. This means great news for foodies all across the island – dining in at F&B outlets will now be permitted! I’m incredibly excited and counting down the days till this weekend to hit up my favourite local spots. However, I would be lying if I said that all sense of paranoia has escaped me. After all, despite easing of lockdown, we should not grow complacent in an uncertain Covid-19 world. Thus, I have taken it upon myself to list out the 7 best restaurants that are accepting reservations for dine-in. This will allow you to still head out and enjoy dining out again this weekend, but not have to worry about snaking long queues. Enjoy great food while still maintaining social distancing with the 7 restaurants listed below.
Does this beloved Singapore home-grown cafe even need any introduction?
I’ve been waiting for the lockdown to ease so I can dine in at this amazing establishment again. Think Truffle Shoestring Fries and the most decadent Sticky Date Pudding… I’m drooling just thinking about it!
Lucky for all of us, PS. Cafe has decided to open up reservations for dining-in starting today! Call their concierge hotline at +65 6708 9288 and visit their website to check which PS. Cafe outlets are re-opening.
All in all, if you think of great cafés in Singapore, PS. Cafe will definitely come into mind. Thus, what are you waiting for? Quickly make your reservations and have a great time catching up with friends and family at one of the best café restaurants in Singapore this weekend.
To make your reservations at this popular steamboat restaurant chain, you will need to call up individual outlets. Although a hassle, the amazing food that awaits you is well worth it!
Some restrictions to note are that there are some precautions you need to take note of if you do manage to nab a coveted reservation at Haidilao this weekend. Unfortunately, we will not be able to spam free-flow condiments from Haidilao’s DIY station, as communal amenities like condiments and drinks dispensers are still banned under the lockdown regulations. Moreover, due to the communal nature of hotpot dining, we suggest you remind everyone at the table to use the communal serving utensils when serving ingredients from the sharing pot.
By taking note of the small things, we’ll be able to ensure our safety as well as slowly ease ourselves back into communal living.

3. Wild Honey
Enjoy a lovely Father’s Day brunch at Wild Honey this Sunday. This unique restaurant that offers all-day breakfast and brunch is reopening and accepting reservations starting from this Friday (19 June 2020).
I personally recommend you to order Flinder’s Lane, a delicious and hearty dish that will perfectly satisfy your rumbling morning belly. It features a Mallawach (crispy savoury filo base), poached eggs, grilled asparagus, sliced avocado, vine tomatoes, feta, sesame seed & nut dukkha, harissa & spicy tomato kasundi. Their menu is extremely extensive and there is definitely something for everyone!
4. Mr. Prata
Mr. Prata is hands down one of many Singaporeans’ favourite restaurant. This 24-hour dining establishment serves an excellent selection of Indian, Western, Turkish as well as local delights.
They are extremely popular and is most likely to be really busy this weekend. Lucky for all of us, they do accept reservations!
Our team at Best In Singapore called them to check, and they have confirmed with us that as long as you are following government regulations and your group is 5 people and less, you can book a table!

5. 8 Korean BBQ
I don’t know about you… But one thing that I feel is extremely difficult to replicate at home is the Korean BBQ experience. Despite buying the ‘best’ BBQ grill pans on Shopee or Lazada, and searching up the best ‘KBBQ marinades’, having Korean BBQ outside just hits different.
Thankfully, 8 Korean BBQ is open and accepting reservations for dine-in starting on the 19th of June. Indulge yourself in a selection of tantalising premium BBQ, and leave the restaurant with the most satisfying food belly.
If what you’re craving is traditional Sunday dim sums, then Hua Ting Restaurant is the place to hit up this weekend. Surely there are other dim sum restaurants accepting reservations, but Hua Ting is a class above the rest.
They are truly superb and one of the oldest Chinese hotel restaurants in Singapore. Decades of history has allowed them to master their craft. Thus, trust that you’re only getting the best quality food and experience.
Their dim sum is truly some of the best in Singapore. If you do manage to get your hands on a table, dive into their wide selection of dim sum this weekend. Highlight dishes include the Steamed Shrimp Dumpling with Dried Yamakurage ($6.60), Steamed Custard Bun with Salted Egg ($6), Deep-fried Fresh Scallop Pastry and Garlic ($6.60) and Deep-fried Shrimp with Seaweed in Crispy Bean Curd Sheet Roll ($6.60).
You will not regret choosing this place as the first restaurant to visit when phase 2 commences. Call them at 6739 6666 and make your reservations today!
Last but definitely not least, if sushi is your vice, then you’re in for a treat. The Sushi Bar is back and running this weekend. They are taking reservations at all of their 3 outlets.
Tuck into a wide selection of sashimi and sushi, or order some donburi if you’re feeling extra peckish. We recommend ordering their Wagyu don, Wafu spaghetti, Unagi kabayaki, and Soft shell crab salmon aburi.
Please WhatsApp them at +65-88183535 (Ngee Ann City outlet), +65-96536464 (Far East Plaza outlet), or +65-88773535 (Tampines 1 outlet) to book yourself a table. Do act early as reservations at their restaurants are often in high-demand and hard to come by.
Whichever restaurant you choose to go to this weekend, you’re sure to have a jolly great time. So, make sure to book your reservations at your desired restaurant early so you’ll be sure to get a spot. Get excited, and have an amazing time dining on great food with great company. Have a lovely weekend!
